Malaysia can no longer take water for granted. Individuals, communities, companies, cities, and countries need to better understand, value, and manage water.
To increase awareness on the importance of better water management, the 4th Strengthening Industry-Academia Partnerships (SIAP) Conference 2020 will bring together industries and academia to share the Malaysian perspective on water crisis and security, in conjunction with the United Nation’s World Water Day (22 March).
The main theme of our SIAP 2020 is “Securing Water for Shared Prosperity”, which is in line with 4 out of 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, namely Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), 14 (Life Below Water) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Approximately 250 attendees will be targeted at the Conference, who will comprise of academicians and researchers from various institutions, representatives from water industries, governmental agencies and water-related NGOs.
