Call for Abstracts Submission

We welcome an abstract submission which suits the sub-themes highlighted as above.

Please submit your abstract as per the Abstract Template (WORDS File).
Abstract submission is not more than 300 words.

Full Paper Guidelines

Call for Full Paper Submission

We welcome a full paper submission which suits the sub-themes highlighted as above. All full paper submission must comply to the formatting guidelines. For this conference the selected paper will be published in Scopus Index Journal, Malaysian Construction Research Journal (MCRJ), eISSN 2590-4140.

The deadline for full paper submission is on 29th November 2022
The deadline for extended full paper submission is on 8th December 2022

Formatting Guidelines

Papers must be in English of up to 8-15 pages.
Paper content must be original and relevant to one of the many conference topics.
Authors are required to ensure accuracy of quotations, citations, diagrams, maps, and tables.
Figures and tables need to be placed where they are to appear in the text and must be clear and easy to view.
Papers strictly follow format according to the downloadable Word template.

Review Process

The review process will be double-blind. Each paper will be reviewed by at least two reviewers (local and international reviewer). The acceptance decisions will take into account paper novelty, technical depth, elegance, practical or theoretic impact, and presentation.

Original: the paper explores a new idea, project or issue; discusses existing research with promise of new insight, discusses new research; or presents new ways of considering existing information
Engaging: presentation format will involve the audience in some way, or has high potential to attract conference attendees by addressing needs of the community
Significant: the paper raises and discusses issues important to improving the effectiveness and/or sustainability of open education efforts, and its contents can be broadly disseminated and understood
Quality: Supported by sufficient data; systematic literature; and limitations are described honestly
Relevant: the paper addresses one or more of the themes of the conference

Publication & Revised Paper Guidelines

Publication (Scopus Indexed, MCRJ)

The Malaysian Construction Research Journal (MCRJ) is the journal dedicated to the documentation of R&D achievements and technological development relevant to the construction industry within Malaysia and elsewhere in the world. It is a collation of research papers and other academic publications produced by researchers, practitioners, industrialists, academicians, and all those involved in the construction industry.
