LEARNING AREA

This area is equipped with study tables, electric sockets and wireless Internet access for users who wish to use this facility during library's opening hours.

It can accommodate up to 600 users at one time.

MEETING ROOM

There is a meeting room to conduct workshops, courses, lectures and other library-organised activities that is located on the fifth floor of the library. 

COMPUTER LABORATORY

The computer laboratory which is integrated with the UCSI University library, is located on the fourth floor of the Resource Centre Building. It has five different laboratories: Computer Labs A, B, C, D (Network Lab), and an Open Lab. All UCSI University staff and students are given a free email account to access the internet wirelessly. 

The computer lab operation time:

Monday – Friday: 8 am – 7 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 9 am – 1 pm

TRAINING ROOM

There is a Training Room for conducting workshops, courses, lectures and other library-organized activities that is located on the 2nd Floor of the Library. 

CAFETERIA

In addition to its impressive, ever-growing collection of resources, the library also has a conducive and convenient cafe located on the second floor of the library offering a variety of menus and beverages to students and staff alike.

COMMON LEARNING AREA

The Common Learning Area is where students can conduct their study and discussion outside the library. It covers a few designated areas all around the campus such as:

• Lobby, Block A, near cafeteria in Block A, etc. 
• Room CA 102, Block C Annex Building (Open 24 hours)

DISCUSSION ROOM

There are eight discussion rooms and PAL room available in the library. Users must register at the Discussion Room Counter with their student ID card. The ID card will be returned at the end of the session. The usage of the rooms is on a first come first served basis. No reservations are allowed. Booking period will be open every 10 minutes before the time. First come first serve basis.

It is located at the second floor, Block B.

WIRELESS ACCESS POINT

The entire library building is Wi-Fi enabled. Those with laptop/notebook wishing to access the Internet need to register with the Computer Service Department that is located at the fifth floor of the library.

AUDIO VISUAL (AV) ROOM

There is an AV room to conduct workshops, courses, lectures and other library-organised activities that is located on the fifth floor of the library. Users must register at the Discussion Room Counter with their student ID card. The ID card will be returned at the end of the session. The room can be used for a maximum of two hours.
