The competition is open to both certificate and diploma fashion design graduates of fashion schools within Malaysia to participate with the students' own final female collection.

The main objective of the competition is to discover new and fresh talents within the industry and to mold them to be able to sustain their business and creativity in the future.

The competition will be subjected to a guideline that ensures the versatility of design and it will be instrumental in educating and guiding these new designers to meet the international standards in the runway.

Fashion schools to send their best diploma graduation students to participate, each with the following:

• Inspiration Board x 1 (A3)
• Illustration Board x 1 (A3)
• Pictures of the Final Collection and
• Participation form

Progress of their work should be monitored internally by the fashion schools prior to them being presented to the panel of judges (fashion designers).

Fashion schools must make sure that the students adhere to the guidelines determined by the panels for entry, such as the requirements and project structure of design.

During the Penang Fashion Week 2018 (14 April - 22 April 2018),
10 finalists are to present their 3 completed looks on the runway.
