Types of Scholarships

Tan Sri Ahmad Razali (TSAR) Merit Scholarship Award

Full fee waiver, on-campus accommodation, monthly allowance, book and laptop allowance for the duration of undergraduate study at UCSI. The TSAR Merit Scholarship Award is only open to Malaysian students who are enrolled in any degree programme at UCSI University.

UCSI University Trust Sports Bursary

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for national or state athletes from Malaysia enrolled in any of the foundation programmes (leading to a degree) or diploma or any degree programmes at UCSI. Applicants must be State or National Athletes verified by the National Sports Council of Malaysia and the respective Sports Association.

UCSI University Trust Scholarship

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for the duration of undergraduate study at UCSI. Offered to Malaysian and international students.

UCSI University Trust A-Level Scholarship

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for the Cambridge GCE A-Level programme at UCSI. Offered to Malaysian and international students.

UCSI University Trust Pre-U Scholarship

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for UCSI's foundation programme in science and arts. Offered to Malaysian students.

UCSI University Trust Graduate Scholarship

Offered to qualified Malaysian and international candidates enrolled in any of the Master's or Doctorate programmes at UCSI University.

UCSI Scholars’ Circle

To provide the UCSI University Trust scholarship recipients with a studying experience that sets them apart, the UCSI Scholars’ Circle was formed. Going beyond mere financial assistance, the Circle also connects scholars with the movers and shakers of the world – from ministers to heavyweights in the business world. To groom future leaders who are responsible and conscientious, the Circle is also a platform for scholars to organise events and initiatives that give back to society. U-Schos is made up of scholarship awardees of UCSI University Trust and to date, more than 2,500 students have benefited from a UCSI scholarship.

    Malaysia’s Youth and Sports Minister

    On 23 November 2015, UCSI University scholars recently engaged Malaysia’s Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin as the latest keynote speaker in their ongoing ‘Rise Up with Leaders’ series. Themed, ‘Youth Beyond Boundaries’, the talk was participated by close to 150 national and international students from higher education institutions across the country.

    Malaysia’s Top 10 Most Impactful Young Leaders Award 2015, UCSI University

    Tunku ‘Abidin Muhriz shared his insights about ‘An Empowered Youth in Uncertain Times’ at UCSI University on 26 September 2015. In his talk, he encouraged students to “play an active part in the life of the nation”.

    On 26 July 2015, YB Kamalanathan visited UCSI to officiate The Uniqversity Life event organised by U-Schos. The event aimed to cultivate strong leadership values among school students. He was so impressed with the scholars’ efforts that he invited them for an appreciation dinner on 14 September 2015.
